Kiwanis K-Kids
Robert J. McGarvey Elementary
Our K-Kids children learn to lead through service. They’re taking on the responsibility of running a K-Kids club as they plan and participate in community service projects such as raising funds for UNICEF, food for the hungry in our community and much more.
Our club sponsors K-Kids by providing volunteers, program materials, and financial support. In addition, the school builds community partnership as a result of the Kiwanis network of volunteers with community connections. The K-Kids program encourages an all-inclusive, bully-free environment for students to learn about and model good character, which positively impacts everyone. Through this program, students attain important life skills, participate in their own success, and connect with mentors and practice peer mentoring.
